This hike on North Fork Mountain departs from Smoke Hole Road climbing through hardwood forest. The route eventually wanders into mossy evergreens and attains the summit ridge where you’ll find tall bluffs on the far side. Views in all directions can be enjoyed from the Chimney Top summit. Bring plenty of food and water for your outing and appropriate clothing for changing weather.
